Regular waveform analysis (Turn-to-turn Surge Withstand Voltage Tester GDZJ)

1 Turn-to-turn insulation non-fault waveform

Turn-to-turn non-fault motor winding ,standard reference impulse waveform should be overlapped with damped oscillation waveform of test object. As the material and technique is little different,it cause slight change on winding impedance . The standard reference impulse waveform and damped oscillation waveform of test object are basic overlap shown as above figure .

Waveform overlap,there may be special fault . For connection method Y and , the fault

is exist on the common part of contact circuit . The impulse waveform of both will overlap in the damped oscillation waveform and it is different with non-fault waveform .If all connection of each phase winding is wrong , impedance is balance and symmetry, the waveform is also overlap, but the oscillation frequency is changed oscillation waveform.

 

2 One phase coil disconnection waveform

One phase winding disconnects , the test will not form the contact circuit and can not display

There is discharge on the disconnected point .

 

3 Turn-to-turn short circuit waveform

A Winding turn-to-turn insulating defect, it will be broke down result in turn-to-turn short circuit under the certain shock wave voltage. Compare the waveform , the degree of difference is different with the fault and position .

B When the insulation is broke down, it is accompany with discharge spark and sound ,the test waveform will discharge burr and it beats .It will assistant method to judge turn-to-turn insulating fault .

 

4 One phase turn-to-turn short circuit waveform

One phase winding turn-to-turn short circuit completely , impedance is zero. Impulse voltage in the winding can not form oscillation waveform

5 Turn-to-turn and ground insulating fault waveform

Turn-to-turn and ground insulating fault waveform can be detected with turn-to-turn surge withstand tester . If there is no insulation fault , the impedance of turn-to-turn and ground insulting and impulse wave can not form oscillation. If there is insulating fault ,the screen will display the oscillation waveform accompany with discharge spark and sound with location of fault differ , it help to distinguish and locate the fault .
