GD-4138H Mobile Cable Fault Locating System is important tool to maintain all kinds of cables. It is compatible equipment that can trace, locate the underground cables, with fault distance measurement and HV generation. As it is movable device, it is convenient to carry on-site. If acoustic locator is used together, it can locate accurate position of cable fault point.
Application is underground cable, aerial cable, power cable, local cable, communication cable and fiber cable.

Features
● Multiple ranging methods: low-voltage pulse method, pulse current method, multiple pulse method: current sampling, DC output.
● Sampling signal types: DC arc reflection method, current sampling, voltage sampling, low voltage pulse.
● Quickly locate and point the low-resistance, high-resistance leakage faults and flashover faults of various 220V~220KV voltage grade power cables.
● There is no need to carry out complex wiring for on-site testing. All test modes are switched automatically through the internal high voltage switch controlled by the weak current.
● Integrated multi-speed DC high-voltage generator, multi-speed high-voltage capacitor, arc stabilizing unit and various signal acquisition in one, easy to operate fault location system.
● Multi-level output high voltage switching, all controlled by internal low voltage weak current, safe and reliable.
● The structure of the equipment adopts a high-strength plastic case. The case is the outer box of the equipment and the transfer box for the equipment delivery package. It is convenient to transfer, and it can be loaded and transferred directly when the cover is closed.
● Sphere gap impulse discharge: Weak current control solenoid valve air gap, the discharge period is adjustable from 3 to 12 seconds, and the muffler is specially designed to meet the requirements of mute for cable failure at the beginning.
● The equipment has a built-in discharge circuit. After the fault test is completed, the high voltage can be turned off just press the button at the discharge position to discharge automatically.
● The distance measuring host can provide a distance measuring resolution up to 0.4m, and the measurement blind area is small, which is particularly effective for near-end faults and short cables.
● All output terminals of the equipment are arranged on a rear panel for easy wiring, and wiring diagrams of various wiring methods are drawn on the operation panel, which can be easily used by people without experience.
● The bottom of the equipment is equipped with 4 high-strength sliding wheels, which can be pushed and stacked for storage.
● The ranging host uses a 7-inch large-screen LCD with a 160° viewing angle, and the display content is rich and intuitive.
● A large number of waveforms can be stored in the host, and the waveform data can be imported and exported using U disk.
● The host can be connected to a computer (desktop or notebook) for online communication.
● When the host has no operation within 2 minutes, the backlight will be weakened; if there is no operation for 10 minutes, it will automatically shut down to reduce power consumption; when the battery is undervoltage, the instrument will also automatically shut down to protect the battery.
● The host has a built-in polymer lithium-ion battery and is equipped with a dedicated lithium battery charger to provide a reliable charging method.
● The whole machine adopts an integral transfer box structure design, which is compact and firm, especially suitable for construction site use.

GD-4133 Multiple Pulse Cable Fault Tester
It is used to measure fault distance. Under LV pulse mode, it can be used alone.
7inch LCD screen, friendly interface.
Multiple distance locating method:
Low voltage pulse method: it is suitable for the locating of the low resistance fault, short circuit fault, open circuit fault. It also can be used in the measurement of the cable length, the intermediate joints, T joints, and cable termination joint. This method also can be used to correct the wave velocity.
Pulse current method: It is suitable for distance measurement of the high resistance fault, breakdown fault. Using the current coupler to collect signals from the earth wire, it makes the user far away from the high voltage. This method is safe and reliable.
Multiple pulse: the advanced way to measure distance. The waveform is easy to identify and the accuracy is high.
200MHz real-time sampling. Max. 0.4m measurement resolution. It has small dead zone and is special for the short cable and near fault cable.
Touch screen and press key operation. The cursor can be dragged.

There will be a main window and three temporary storage windows could check three waveforms together.
