Precautions for Dielectric Strength Tester of Insulating Oil
1. Before using this instrument, be sure to read this operation manual in detail;
2. Instrument operators should be familiar with the general use of electrical equipment or analytical instruments;
3. This instrument can be used both indoors and outdoors, but it should be kept away from places such as rain, corrosive gas, high concentration dust, high temperature or direct sunlight;
4. The oil cup should be kept clean. During the outage period, a sufficient amount of dry and qualified insulating oil should be added to soak to keep the oil cup free from moisture and electrode oxidation;
5. Precautions for Dielectric Strength Tester of Insulating Oil After the electrode has been used continuously for one month, it should be checked and maintained routinely. Check and adjust the electrode gap to make it return to the standard value; observe with a magnifying glass whether dark spots appear on the electrode surface, if so, wipe the electrode surface with a silk cloth to restore it to its original state;
6. The maintenance and debugging of the insulating oil dielectric strength tester must be completed by professionals;
7. Before turning on the power, carefully check whether the connecting wire is firm, and the instrument shell must be reliably grounded!
8. After the power is turned on, the operator is strictly forbidden to touch the shell of the oil cup tank cover to avoid the danger of electric shock!
9. During the use of the instrument, if any abnormality is found, the power supply should be cut off immediately!
